Online Report Service

The Special Pathogens offers online results for all of our laboratory services. Within the site you will be able to view the history and status of results and generate reports. Clients will have email notification when results are available for their viewing.

To sign up for this access, you must set up an account by calling the lab at 412-281-5335 or downloading and faxing the new account application. After account approval, an account number and temporary password will be assigned. The temporary password can be customized after the initial login by clicking the “change password” link in the upper left corner of the result site.

Once you login, the number and type of report that is available to you will be listed. There are both individual and multiple report types that you can choose amongst the same report type. If you choose the individual listing, you will get a listing of the individual samples submitted. By clicking on the PDF button , you can view and print the PDF of the report. The result is listed at “pending” until it is final. When you choose the multiple report tab, the samples submitted are grouped by the date they were received in the laboratory. By selecting a date, all samples received on that date will be listed. You can either select the PDF button on top to have all of the samples on the same report, or you can manually build your report by checking the boxes of the samples you want included, then clicking the PDF button on top.
